Sundays

Come and join us during our weekly time together as a church

10.30am every Sunday
Burnage Academy for Boys
‍Burnage, M19 1ER

We meet together each week to worship, encounter and grow in our relationship with God. We aim to create a warm and friendly environment where anyone can hear about, and meet with, Jesus.

Everything You Need To Know

Our venue is accessible by bus, train or car plus it's walkable from many of the main student areas in Manchester.

Joining us for the first time? Whether you're arriving by car or on foot, please feel free to use the Main Entrance gate. We also have use of the Sports Hall car park, accessed by a second gate just a little further down Burnage Lane.

There's a short walk from the car park to the Student Entrance - just look for our Host team who will be happy to help you find your way!
We meet in the main hall of the school and our Hosts (look for anyone with a badge that says Host!) will help you find your way around the building. We start most weeks by singing together as we worship God, making space to listen to His voice.

We then hear a talk from someone in the community who explores the Bible and how it affects our lives today.
Children playing at Vinelife Church
We have drop-off groups available for all ages, starting with Little Movers for 1-2 year olds and Explorers for our 2-4 year olds. Primary school children are part of Game Changers

All of these groups take place for the duration of our gathering - please ask a Host to help you sign your child in when you arrive.

For our Year 6 and above we have Youth, which takes place in the second half to the service during the talk.
We love our students, they are a life-giving and fun-bringing part of our church. If you are a student visiting us for the first time please let a Host know!

Our students get together in Small Groups and other events throughout the year, find out more about that here.

Great, we can't wait to meet you! When you arrive at Burnage Academy, if you're driving please use the car park next to the Sports Hall on the left after the barrier, and walk up to the Student Entrance following the signs.

Introduce yourself to a member of our Host team (look for someone wearing a badge) and we'll help you get settled in and introduce you to a few members of the church. If you have any questions before you arrive please contact us, we'd love to help in any way we can.

You're free to wear a mask or not - we'll leave that to personal discretion. We also have hand sanitiser throughout the building and try, where possible, to be in ventilated spaces. If you wish to seat socially distanced then please let our Hosts know and we'll ensure you are safe.

We do not livestream our Sunday gatherings any longer, but talks will be available via YouTube and our podcast.

We have a number accessible parking spaces close to the Student Entrance that are reserved for those who need them. Just continue on the site road towards the main building when you arrive.

All the rooms we are using are on the ground floor, and there is full wheelchair throughout. We have floor seating options in addition to the tiered seating. The closest accessible toilet is opposite the Main Hall, plus a further accessible toilet is available next to reception.

Please let us know of any additional needs you may have and we would love to serve you as best we can
